Stacey Solomon has melted hearts by sharing a bunch of gorgeous snaps from her magical birthday trip to Disneyland Paris. But the sweet post did come with a bit of a 'disclaimer' as she complained about husband Joe Swash's photography skills.
The Loose Women star celebrated her 33rd birthday on Tuesday (October 4) while little Rose turned one on the same day. Ahead of the joint special occasion, Stacey and the family headed off to the magical destination for a very magical celebration. Sharing an adorable video of the family at the front of one of Disney’s famous parades, Stacey showed the sweet moment Peter Pan's very own Wendy came over to Rose to say hello.
"Birthday magic. And now we are on the most magical Birthday adventure… my favourite place ever," Stacey shared alongside the heart-melting video. She could be seen donning a pink jumper emblazoned with Mickey and Minnie Mouse's faces while alos donning a pair of sparkling Minnie ears.
Birthday girl Rose wore a Minnie Mouse-inspired red outfit to take all the action. On Wednesday morning, the family headed to enjoy breakfast with some of Disney's most loved and recognisable characters. And mum-of-four Stacey shared a video of her little girl walking around an empty Disney park in front of Cinderella's glistening castle.
But on Wednesday evening, Stacey took to Instagram to share some adorable snaps from their trip so far, showing the two birthday girls beaming in front of Cinderella's castle as well as a cute picture of her three sons, Zachary, Leighton and Rex, getting the same photo for the album.
Rose also looked very intrigued by Tigger who paid them a visit at breakfast while Rex and Joe couldn't stop smiling as they enjoyed a photo opportunity with Pluto. "Rose’s 1st Birthday & Mummy’s 33rd Birthday," Stacey styped. "What an honour I get to share my birthday with you Rose, my daughter.
"Having the most magical birthday with you, daddy and your big brothers in my favourite place ever. And after today I think it might be yours too. Apologies in advance for the Disney spam. But I’m so grateful to be here and fully in my element! Thank you for all of your lovely birthday messages to Rose & Me. THEYRE so so amazing and All of your stories and messages. Love you all.
But, the Sort Your Life Out presenter went on to add: "P.S - *Disclaimer* Joe managed to get the only other 3 people in the park for the 8am breakfast in this first photo with us so I’ve used some dodgy retouch skills to try & blur them out bless ‘em in case you’re wondering why the floor is wobbly."
Reality star Vicky Pattison was aong the first to replu, writing: "I can't cope with the cuteness!!! Happy birthday lovely girlies." Stacey's best friend and social media star Sophie Hinchliffe, aka Mrs Hinch, said: " Love you all so much. I hope you’ve all had the most magical time together ."
But it appears Stacey didn't agree with her husband as they went to one of her favourite places for dinner. Filming herself speaking to the camera, Stacey said: "We've just finished dinner int Captain Jacks. I love it here," but Joe chimed in: "It's great, you just need a torch," referring to the fact that the newlyweds appeared to be in the dark.
Stacey mouthed 'shut up' to her new husband before joking: "He's just so old." Joe clapped back: "No, don't be going old. 35,000 steps I done yesterday." But a stunned Stacey replied: "I thought you were going to say you're 35! I was like, 'yeah, six years ago!" She also typed alongside the clip: "Grandpa Joe hating the mood lighting in Captain Jacks [cryinging laughing emoji]."
She then went on to complain about Joe's photography skills which clearly annoyed him too. "Before I was rudely interrupted, I came on to say, I've been going through my photos and I asked Joe to get a photo of me and Rose in front of the castle. There were about three or four people in there [the park] at that time for breakfast and Joe managed to get them all the shot.
"What the hell? I'm sat here trying to blur them out because I don't want them in my photo, bless them!" But Joe hit back:" You'd think I was a professional photographer the way you're going on." Stacey replied: "I don't think you're a professional photographer the way she judges the photos," as Joe clapped back: "You keep asking me to take them!"
Stacey gave birth to Rose at the family's home, adorably dubbed Pickle Cottage, las year after Stacey initially went to hospital to be checked over. After returning home, Rose was ready for her arrival into the world and community midwives quickly arrived to help. Rose is Stacey and husband Joe Swash's second child together after son Rex, who was born in 2019.
