Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash had previously disagreed about having "enough" children before the announcement of the telly star's latest pregnancy.
The Loose Women panellist, 33, has four children, two with husband Joe, 40, and two others from previous relationships earlier in life.
Her youngest daughter Rose, one, was meant to be Stacey's last after she revealed in a magazine interview that she didn't want to "push it anymore".
Even in the last stages of her previous pregnancy, in an Instagram post she told followers that she was giving birth for "the last time".
"For the last time… So grateful for the chance to grow you little one, now we can't wait to meet you," she explained in her post's caption.
However, seemingly singing from a different hymn sheet, husband Joe had told a magazine how having kids was "addictive" and that he'd "never say no" to having more.
Despite this, yesterday Stacey shockingly announced that she was welcoming her fifth child – her third with Joe – after saying Rose was her last.
She shared a sweet video yesterday evening showing the moment she told Joe the happy news with a positive pregnancy test.
Captioning the video, she wrote: "Me + Him = So grateful & can not believe I’m saying this… Another little pickle is on the way."
She added: "A HUGE surprise, but one that we are so thankful for to the moon & back bub @realjoeswashy."
Yesterday, the couple's family and friends flocked to congratulate the pair, with Lydia Bright writing: "Crying congrats Joe and stacey, another Pickle."
While Vicky Pattison wrote: "I'm sobbing congratulations guys." Candice Brown commented: "Ohhhhh so many congratulations."
Chloe Crowhurst wrote: "Amazing! Congratulations guys."
Stacey and Joe share two children together - one-year-old Rose and three-year-old Rex - together. Joe is also dad to son Harry from a previous relationship and Stacey is also mum to sons Zach and Leighton.
