Stacey Solomon is getting into the Halloween spirit early and has gone all-out decorating her home for spooky season.

While the big day is not for another two weeks, the Loose Women star just couldn’t wait, declaring this time of year “our favourite family tradition”.

This year will be a special Halloween for the mum-of-four as not only does it mark her family’s first since moving into their new home - dubbed Pickle Cottage - it’s her and husband Joe Swash’s first as a married couple.

There was also a tinge of sadness as it will be their first since losing their beloved pet pooch Theo last Christmas.

Taking to Instagram, the 33-year-old uploaded a slew of photos of her and her family posing outside their spook-tacular display at the front of the house.

In addition to numerous pumpkins, the star attraction is a pair of skeltons who she has named Phil and Grant after the iconic EastEnders characters.

She captioned the post: “Halloween At Pickle Cottage. Our favourite family tradition… There’s so many of us now you can’t even see the door. Rose’s face in the last picture is life.

“Our first Autumn door as husband and wife. And our first autumn without Theo. To the moon and back Fifi.

“Honestly the front door tradition is and forever will be my favourite. This year the big boys wanted a more spooky theme so we got Phil & Grant (the skeletons) involved. Not only are they amazing childcare but they double up as a great front door display too.

“The leaves at the top are from our wedding. they’re our eucalyptus stems that our beautiful friend @emlouflowers painted orange and made into a tree which makes me so happy that we kept some wedding door in their too.

“Happy Autumn everyone,” she signed off her post, followed by a black heart emoji.
