Max George called Stacey Giggs 'fat and said Maisie Smith was fitter' during an explosive row, it has been alleged.
The Wanted singer Max, 33, has seemingly embarked on a new romance with Strictly co-star Maisie, 21, following his split from Stacey, 43.
The former couple were together for four years, before calling it quits for the second time earlier this month.
Now, a friend of Stacey's has apparently spoken out about their relationship.
The Sun claims Stacey - who is the ex-wife of Manchester United star Ryan Giggs - confided in a close pal following a "big row" with Max.
According to the publication, Stacey had her concerns about Maisie's friendship with Max when they were together on the Strictly tour.
She allegedly told a pal: "I gave Max millions of chances. I even gave him one final opportunity to be honest — and still he said he wasn’t with Maisie and that he was in fact in Spain.
"First of all he wouldn’t answer the phone and blocked me. But eventually we had a big row and he called me fat and said Maisie was fitter."
The former couple briefly broke up back in March, but reconciled a month later with Stacey supporting Max at the funeral of his friend and bandmate Tom Parker, after his tragic death from cancer.
However, shortly after their latest split, the singer has apparently moved on with EastEnders star Maisie.
The pair were allegedly "all over each other" on a recent flight from Manchester to Crete, despite their reported attempts to go incognito.
Their rumoured romance has reportedly left Stacey fuming with her former partner - allegedly telling friends that seeing the two stars "dating publicly so quickly after I dumped him is like a dagger to the heart."
Stacey is believed to have said : "Max cheated on me with Maisie. I asked him about her but he denied anything had happened.
"He said he was like an uncle to Maisie. After everything I’ve done for him, I cannot believe he would be so rude and disrespectful. He’s a lying dog. I feel betrayed."
The friend went on to claim Stacey doesn't "recognise the person" Max has begun and adds how she feels her ex-boyfriend "has become obsessed with fame".
The Mirror have approached a representative for both Max and Stacey over the allegations.
Max and Maisie appeared on the 2020 series of the BBC series – as Max was paired up with Dianne Buswell and Maisie partnered with Gorka Marquez.
Maisie is currently understood to have been single after shutting down rumours of a romance between herself and her former EastEnders co-star Zack Morris, who played Keegan Baker on the soap.
