Pupils at St Patrick’s Primary in Dumbarton kicked off the school’s 50th anniversary celebrations with a party last week.
P1, P2 and P3 pupils got in on the fun as ‘Wee St Pats’ marked its fifth decade in the town.
The party is part of a programme of events celebrating the school, which will see pupils and staff – past and present – come together to share their memories.
Maureen McHugh, acting headteacher St Patrick’s Primary, said: “We are really pleased that this anniversary has given our current pupils an opportunity to understand the unique contribution the school has made to the community.”
