St Patrick's Athletic are "appalled and disgusted" after two of their players were alleged subjected to "vile" racist abuse following a match against a Bulgarian side.
The Europa Conference League game against CSKA Sofia took place in Tallaght Stadium on Thursday night. The Saints lost the game by two goals and were knocked out of the European competition as a result.
In a statement, the Dublin club said one of their players was sent "racist" messages on his personal social media account and another was "racially abused" during the game. The Saints added that they reported the alleged incidents to UEFA, the FAI and SARI.

Club Chairman Garrett Kelleher said: "We are appalled and disgusted by the vile racist messages and language that has been directed at our players. St Patrick's Athletic is a multi-cultural, inclusive and welcoming club to all individuals, with a zero tolerance policy to racism and abuse of any kind.
"The club has offered it's full support to both players, and we look forward to seeing them back on the pitch at Richmond Park on Sunday."
