St Pat's are closing in on a deal for Ross County defender Tom Grivosti.
The 22-year-old is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Inchicore club who lost Sam Bone and John Mountney to Dundalk while Lee Desmond moved to America.
Grivosti, who is from Liverpool, had been on loan at Scottish League Two side Elgin City for the first half of this season, making 13 appearances.
He started out in Bolton Wanderers’ academy before joining Ross County in 2017 where he played regularly in the Scottish Championship.
Grivosti, who made 11 appearances in the SPL over two seasons, missed a year of football with a broken toe before returning in October 2020, only to suffer a bad hamstring injury seven games into his return.
Yesterday, Ireland underage internationals Ben Curtis and Sam Curtis signed professional contracts with St Pat’s.
The Navan brothers joined the Saints Under-19s last summer and made inroads with the first-team.
Sam, 16, became the club’s youngest ever senior player when he came off the bench against Waterford in August aged 15 years and 255 days.
And St Pat’s boss Tim Clancy said: “They've both been doing well in pre-season with the first team so far and made really positive impacts to the U19s last year.
“They are among a number of Academy graduates who are in and around our first-team squad which is great.”
