St Mirren will face a difficult third trip to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen in the race for European football after the post-split fixtures were announced today.
The Buddies have already played the Dons twice away from home this season.
But after playing 17 home games and 16 away games before the split, one of their final five matches has been swapped so the Saints will end up playing 19 overall in Paisley and 19 on the road.
First up for Stephen Robinson’s side is a huge trip to Easter Road to take on Hibs on Saturday, May 6. St Mirren are currently level with the Edinburgh club in the Premiership table on 44 points.
Then they will then host Hearts at the SMiSA Stadium on Saturday, May 13, before travelling to Parkhead the following weekend to face Celtic (Saturday, May 20).
Despite having already played Aberdeen twice on the road, Robinson's men will take the long road up to Pittodrie for a difficult midweek fixture on Wednesday, May 24.
Their final match, which could be decisive as the Paisley club aim to return to European football for the first time since 1987, will see them take on Rangers at the SMiSA Stadium on Saturday, May 27.
