St Mirren are turning to supporters to help close the financial gap left by reducing the old firm allocation.
The Buddies are asking fans for a voluntary contribution of £30 to help ease the financial pressures from a reduced old firm crowd.
It was decided by the club this season that Glasgow’s big two would not get two full stands, like they have done in the past, with the club looking to engage and prioritise the St Mirren fans more this season after the club consulted fans ahead of making this decision, with the fans mostly in favour of reducing the crowd.

It was announced today that Celtic would have 1493 tickets for the game against the Saints for their clash on September 17.
This season the club began a ‘Help A Buddie’ initiative, championed by Keith Lasley, that would look to help less fortunate people within the community get along to the SMISA stadium to see Stephan Robinson’s men in action.
The initiative allows fans to purchase spare tickets which will be shared amongst the community, giving people an opportunity to see the team play live.
