St Mirren are looking to secure the future of a trio of key players by extending their current deals.
The Buddies are set to open contract talks with stand-in captain Mark O’Hara, goalkeeper Trevor Carson and Australia international Ryan Strain.
The trio still have another full season left on their existing deals, but the Saints are keen to extend those agreements and safeguard themselves against clubs poaching them in the future.
Manager Stephen Robinson brought all three to the club in the summer, having worked with O’Hara and Carson previously at Motherwell.
And they have all played a vital role in helping the Paisley club to currently sit in the Premiership top six.
The club are also understood to be in the process of trying to tie down striker Curtis Main to a new deal.
The 30-year-old, who has netted six goals so far this season, has found his best form at the club under Robinson and the Saints are eager to keep him at the SMiSA Stadium.
Playmaker Greg Kiltie has already agreed a new contract with St Mirren – signing his extension to the summer of 2025 in December.
