St Helens dog attack: First picture of baby killed by new pet as neighbour gave CPR

This is the first picture of a toddler who was mauled to death by her family's new pet dog - as a hopeful young paramedic and neighbour tried in vain to save her life.

Bella-Rae Birch was just 17-months-old when she was attacked in her home in St Helens, Merseyside yesterday.

Neighbour Jordan, who is hoping to go to university in September to train to be a paramedic, ran over to help when she heard screams.
