St George Park has not only been ranked as the best picnic spot in Bristol but also among the top five best parks in the entire UK. Research carried out by Cartwright & Butler saw over 4,000 parks nationwide analysed to determine the rankings.
The study was based on which parks have the most facilities within walking distance, followed by park rating, and average toilet rating among the top 100 most populated towns and cities in the UK.
Google Maps was used to determine how many public toilets and convenience stores were within a ten-minute walk of each park.
