The Scottish SPCA have released a desperate appeal for information after two pet rabbits were found dumped near a burn in the Burdiehouse area of Edinburgh on January 24.
The rabbits were discovered by a member of the public on Monday, January 24, next to Burdiehouse Burn near Gilmerton Dykes Crescent in the capital.
The charity that cares specifically for animal welfare is now looking for any information it can relating to this, as a distressing image of the dead pets was also released.

Senior Inspector, John Toule said, “One rabbit was tan and the other was white with small black markings.
“Their bodies had been left on blankets and attempts had been made to cover the rabbits’ bodies with a cardboard box.
