Srinagar International Airport has announced a proposed runway maintenance schedule that could affect flight operations for several months beginning in July 2026. According to the airport authorities, the runway may remain unavailable on specific days between July and September, while a complete shutdown of runway operations has also been proposed for the first half of October. Passengers have been advised to follow official updates from the airport and airlines for accurate information, a PTI report stated.
