NEW DELHI: After exiting the World Cup early, Sri Lanka's assistant coach Naveed Nawaz said on Wednesday that the team still has a long way to go before becoming a credible competitor in global championships.

Sri Lanka will play New Zealand in their final league encounter in Bengaluru on Thursday, and Nawaz stated that they want to develop in all facets of the game.
