Ronald Volkman says he understands Parramatta's business decision to sign Jarome Luai for next season, as the in-form half fights to continue his NRL career elsewhere.

After a run of bad luck and poorly-timed injuries, Volkman has enjoyed the best season of his career wearing the Eels' No.6 in 2026.
