Spurs Women couldn't quite rise to the occasion in front of 30,000 fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as they suffered their seventh straight defeat in the WSL this season.
It was an easy start for Manchester United with Spurs having to hold their defence with some powerful crosses from Leah Galton who later went on to score the goal that put the Reds ahead.
An action-packed second half saw three goals and a red card in a very frantic few minutes just after Spurs' equaliser on the 75th minute.

Despite an uneventful first half, Spurs managed to hold United to a 0-0 draw going in at the break with good link-up play from England and Summanen's that proved vital for Spurs' attacking while Neville's quality of defending kept Spurs in the game. It could even see her play for a place in Sarina Wiegman's squad in the near future.
United had the ball in the net just short of the 22nd minute but was declared offside. A huge opportunity just two minutes later for Spurs with a brilliant pass from Neville for England to strike it just over the bar.
Lucky for Spurs, a belter of a strike from Ella Toone just hits the post ten minutes into the second half, but the luck ran out on the 66th minute with a goal from Leah Galton to put United 1-0 ahead.
From the 75th minute when a brilliant strike from Beth England got the equaliser for the home side, it turned into a very frantic and dramatic last 15 minutes.
Just seconds after the restart following England's goal, Bartrip had the ball in the net with an excellent finish - but sadly it was in her own net and an own goal to help United take the lead.
Minutes following the own goal, Ella Toone was given a straight red card after a challenge on Summanen and a poor reaction to it.
The drama-filled second half saw United take all three points and taking them straight to the top of the table.
