Victor Wembanyama’s prolific rookie season continued Thursday night as the San Antonio Spurs star led his team to victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, 132–118.
It was yet another special night for the No. 1 pick, as he recorded some impressive NBA history during the victory, which snapped both a six-game Thunder winning streak and a five-game losing skid for the Spurs.
Wembanyama ended the night with 28 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks while knocking down five threes. In doing so, the 20-year-old became the first player in league history to record a game with 25-plus points, 10-plus rebounds, five or more assists, five or more blocks, and five or more three-pointers, per Andrew Lopez of ESPN.
