Spy hopes this advice reaches the staff of music app Spotify – what’s left of them. Hours before more than 1,000 of them were laid off a few weeks ago, billionaire CEO Daniel Ek liked a tweet which said: “Nowadays, I often think of people as LLMs. Their ideas [are just] a function of their experiential training dataset.”
We’re all doomed. Still, at least when you’re jobless there’s more time to play your favourite tunes.
