Facebook and Spotify users have reported outages as the service has dropped, with some claiming they have been logged out and their passwords reset.
There have also been reports a number of sites have been independently affected, including Wikipedia and Discord.
It is believed the issue hit Spotify shortly after 6pm Tuesday and has left users unable to listen to music or podcasts at all.
But the music streaming giant are aware of problem and at 6.22pm they tweeted: “Something’s not quite right, and we’re looking into it. Thanks for your reports!”
According to downdetector.co.uk there have been over 70,000 reports of the services issues this evening alone.
The music streaming service is down across every platform.
Some users were met with warning messages reading: "Something went wrong" whilst others claim they have been told their accounts have been deleted.
A number of users reported that they had been logged off Spotify and had their passwords reset.
Some have speculated that users who logged into Spotify using their Facebook accounts may be affected whilst others flooded onto other social media sites like Twitter to make light of the situation.
Popular messaging and communication app Discord is also reportedly down and many users have claimed the site's servers are down.
Discord tweeted out: "We’re aware of an issue causing message failures and are working on a fix. Apologies for the disruption & thx for hanging tight!"
They added: "Time to go outside everyone".
Online, a number of people have said that they have also had issues accessing social media giant Facebook.
A number of people flocked to Twitter to tweet about the outage.
It is unclear yet if the outages are related or what has caused them.
