Sports minister Mandaviya announces cash awards for Paris Paralympics medallists

NEW DELHI: Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced cash awards for Indian Paralympic medallists at an event on Tuesday. Gold medallists will receive Rs 75 lakh, silver winners Rs 50 lakh, and bronze medallists Rs 30 lakh.

Athletes excelling in mixed teams events, like archer Sheetal Devi, will get Rs 22.5 lakh, reported PTI.
