NBA great LeBron James shared a passionate reaction on X on Tuesday morning after watching Amazon Prime’s documentary Bye Bye Barry.
Amazon describes the documentary as “the definitive story of Barry Sanders’ Hall-of-Fame career and the extraordinary decision to walk away from the game while in his prime.”
Sanders, who ranks fourth all-time in NFL history in rushing yards (15,269), was a Pro Bowl selection in all 10 seasons he played in the NFL prior to suddenly retiring the day before Lions training camp was set to start in 1999.
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer shared his reaction to the documentary.
"Up watching this Barry Sanders documentary and I’m getting hella emotional. This guy is simply INCREDIBLE!!!!," posted James.
