There is no shortage of queues at a festival but they are usually for the toilets or for the bar. With thousands of people attending Splendour over two days, what has been the longest queue of them all?
The biggest queue at Splendour isn’t for food or drink, but for henna tattoos and glitter. The colourful designs have attracted a significant queue, with some of those in line waiting an hour for their turn.
Sarah Leomard has travelled up from Kent with her two daughters. She’s looking forward to Belinda Carlisle while her daughters, Megan and Emma, are excited for Becky Hill.

"We’ve been waiting about an hour," she said. "We want to have henna done but we are determined to stay the course."
Lucy Mastin and Jess Worthington were also waiting in the queue and were determined to stay the court. The pair have come from Chesterfield for the festival. Lucy said: "We’ve only just joined the queue so we’ve been here for ten mins. We want our faces done."
The henna artists said they haven’t seen queues like this before. Mia Creasy is new to henna art but she has a few festivals under her belt, including Reading.
"I only started last year but I’ve done a few festival so this is the longest queue we’ve had. At Reading, it can get crazy, too," she said.
The queue is still growing with many forming a second for glitter only. You can catch up on all the latest from Splendour in our live blog.
