Some fans at this year's Splendour Festival have had to wait some time to get a hold of some alcoholic refreshments. The queues for drinks are particularly long by the stage as visitors hope to stay nearby to listen to the set.
One queue to the left of the stage has about a hundred festival fans queueing in groups to get a drink.
Kirsty Wainright and Clare Wright were queueing for about forty minutes to get three pints of cider.
"It's been about 40 minutes but it was better before when there were tokens which they had the last time we were here about three years ago. It's crazy that it's taken us that long to get a drink," they said.
Amir Pourghoureiyan said that the queues are slow to move and that he has been there a while already despite not being near the front of the queue.
"It's been really sluggish even when they weren't busy they were taking a long time. I've been here about half an hour already."
Further back towards the end of the queue, Liv Western and Caroline Thompson had just joined the queue but had already been there for fifteen minutes. They said: "We've only been to this one and it's been 15 minutes so far. We've spent about an hour today in a queue but it's not bothering me."
It's not all bad news for one of the most popular bars, Big Tops and Tall Tales, which has a large queue and is the only independent bar on site. Business is booming for the bar who has become a Splendour favourite over the years. Fans are keen to queue to access the cocktails.
"We are loving it this year usually we work on cash and tokens but it's been brilliant. It's quite lovely but we've been non-stop," said owner Sal Furnace.
"It's bizarre but we come here every year and each year we have a different theme. Everyone comes back each year and realises that we are here so we want people to have a really good time. We don't want to give them booze and then send them on their way. All the staff are dressed and we really enjoy doing it. We want everyone to stay with us in our little bubble," she said.
There are several water stations throughout the festival so that fans can stay hydrated but there are also ten bars across the park site. Fun fact, the last time the festival took place, festival-goers drank enough beer to fill 150 bathtubs so no wonder there are queues across the site.
