Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions are no longer pushovers.
In fact, they came into Sunday’s game against the 10-2 Minnesota Vikings as favorites in the betting world.
The Purple is getting an idea of why.
The Lions were up 21-7 in the third quarter after their coach decided to gamble in Detroit territory and it paid off.
Campbell called the fake punt and C.J. Moore took it 42 yards to keep the drive rolling.
Jared Goff finished it with a 5-yard pass to Josh Reynolds. After the PAT, the Lions were up 14.
A @Lions fake punt turns into a 42-yard gain!
