‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ tickets have gone on sale and the memes are coming in amid the chaos

It’s perhaps rather ironic that a massive rush for tickets to see Spider-Man: No Way Home next month has broken the web.

The final film in Tom Holland’s trilogy as Peter Parker will land into UK cinemas on 15 December, with Marvel fans able to buy their seats to see the movie from today as part of ‘Spider-Monday’.

And you thought our first pun was bad…

Trailers for No Way Home have already hyped up the fanbase, showing Alfred Molina reprising his role as Dr Otto “Doc Ock” Octavius from Spider-Man 2 in 2002.

Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin – also from the Tobey Maguire movies – is making a comeback, along with Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman from Spider-Man 3 (2007).

If that wasn’t enough to get your head in a spin, Jamie Foxx and Rhys Ifans return as Electro and The Lizard respectively from Andrew Garfield’s era as The Amazing Spider-Man.

With talks of the multiverse and past characters making reappearances, fans have also speculated that both Maguire and Garfield will surprise viewers in the film too, though this hasn’t been confirmed officially.

On Monday, however, fans took to Twitter for a slightly different reason, voicing their frustration and sharing memes as they rushed to get their hands on tickets:

We haven’t seen so much reckless clicking since Infinity War and Endgame.
