The award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film is to be screened at Liverpool Philharmonic with a live orchestra.
The lauded animated action film, which scooped the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars and the BAFTA for Best Animated Film in 2019, is embarking on a UK tour, hitting cities including Edinburgh, York, Manchester, London and more.
It will be screened at the iconic Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, based on Hope Street, in October and accompanied by the dazzling and endlessly talented orchestra.

The feature film will be shown on a large HD screen and, in addition to the orchestra, it will be joined by turntables and percussion playing the music from the score and soundtrack.
A Sony Pictures Animation film, directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman and written by Phil Lord and Rothman, the film introduces Brooklyn teenager Miles Morales as the protagonist, as well as the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask.
The music score for the box office hit was composed by multiple Golden Globe-nominee and Emmy-winning composer Daniel Pemberton, known for his work on films such as The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean's 8, Steve Jobs and Molly's Game.
Of the project, Daniel Pemberton commented: "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is one of my favourite scores I've ever written. Utilising a full orchestra, crazy electronics and unbelievable turntable scratching techniques amongst a million other things, it is so technically complex I never thought we'd ever be able to actually reproduce it live, but somehow, we have."
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will be shown at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Sunday, October 29. You can book tickets here.
