Spice Girls' unreleased song with X-rated title appears online leaving group horrified

The Spice Girls are reported to be horrified after an unreleased song by them with an X-rated title appeared online.

C. U. Next Tuesday has been hidden away since it was written and recorded by Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C, Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham.

It's believed that a security breach has meant the term - which is slang for a four-letter expletive word - was uploaded to the internet this week.

The tune is reported to have been recorded for their debut album, Spice, but the girls refused to have it on there, writes The Mirror.

"The Spice Girls are all at a very different place in their lives now than they were when this song was first written as a tongue-in-cheek track in the Nineties," A source told The Sun.

They added: "It is obviously a bit embarrassing given the cringeworthy title, as they wouldn’t use the c-word in their own lives. It is a bit of a mystery how on earth it has got out but they aren’t going to dwell on it.

"The group have other projects they are looking forward to in 2023 so are focusing on them and hoping this song — which they were never particularly fond of — is forgotten."

And speaking about the leak, a raging Mel C hit out to say: "C.U. Next Tuesday was never used because it’s a pile of s***.

"It would be a big rip-off if Virgin put it on a greatest hits album now."

Spice25 was released last year to celebrate the album's 25th anniversary, featuring unreleased demos and remixes.

There was a Spice Girls reunion in November as they gathered to celebrate Geri Horner's 50th birthday after her original plans were scampered in September following the Queen's death.

A number of famous faces attended the big bash including Dame Shirley Bassey and Rylan Clark, who posted a series of pictures and videos on his Instagram.
