Melanie C is reportedly back off the market six months after splitting with her longterm partner Joe Marshall.
Following her split from Joe after a seven-year relationship, the Spice Girls star, 49, it looks as though she's giving love another go.
It's claimed the person in question is her long-time friend Cassius Colman, with the pair having said to have been on a number of low key dates recently.
Cassius, an art gallery owner, has known Sporty Spice for 25 years, with the pair first getting to know each other as she launched her solo career back in 1998.
He co-owns a trendy gallery in East London but had previously worked as a music video director at the company which created Mel's music video with Bryan Adams for When You’re Gone.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Mel and Cassius enjoy each other’s company and get on really well."
They revealed the duo aren't rushing into anything but had been on a few successful dates before adding: "It is all going well and she seems really happy."
It comes after Mel and Joe's decision to go their separate ways in August after first becoming an item in 2015.
They called time on their relationship due to her work schedule with an insider saying at the time: "Mel has an incredibly busy career between her book deal, DJ-ing and other plans.
"The little free time she does have is devoted to her daughter Scarlett, and that doesn’t leave much time for a relationship."
The Mirror has contacted Mel C's representatives for comment.
Last month Mel swapped her microphone for her dancing shoes and took part in an intimate stage dance performance alongside award-winning dancer Harry Alexander.
Internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Jules Cunningham premiered their latest Sadler’s Wells commission called How Did We Get Here? in collaboration with and starring the Spice Girl and award-winning dancer.
The show, which ran for ten days from January 19 to January 29, marked a huge change in Mel C's career as she took on the intimate dance performances.
It came after the singer abruptly pulled the plug on performing at a gig in Poland for New Year - saying there was a conflict with her personal views.
