SPFL announce new dates for postponed fixtures due to The Queen's death

THE SPFL have announced a number of new fixtures following postponements due to the Queen's death.

All matches in Scotland were called off the weekend after the death was announced as a mark of respect.

League bosses now face the tough task of rescheduling fixtures, in an already hectic season with the World Cup taking place in December.

Kilmarnock will welcome St Johnstone to Rugby Park on Wednesday October 5, with a 7:45pm kick-off.

FC Edinburgh will take on Peterhead in League One on the same date with the same kick-off time.

In the Championship, Arbroath and Raith Rovers will go head to head on Wednesday October 19, with a kick-off of 7:45pm.

Meanwhile, Kilmarnock will take on Livingston on Friday November 4, with a 7:45pm start time.
