Wet and windy weather is set to hit Merseyside this week.
On Wednesday, December 21, rain will clear in the morning to leave sunny spells throughout the afternoon. There will still be a risk of some scattered showers throughout the day and into the evening however.
Temperatures will hit a maximum of 9C which is warm compared to the minus temperatures and ice the region experienced last week. On Thursday, it will be cloudy for much of the day.
