A driver who struck an 89-year-old great-grandfather, carried his body on the car roof for a mile, and then abandoned it, has been jailed for nearly 10 years.

Albert Matraxhiu, 29, from Edgware, north London, received a sentence of nine years and 10 months at Maidstone Crown Court for causing death by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.
