Speedboat killer Jack Shepherd is set to be freed half-way through his six-year prison sentence, reports suggest. The 32-year-old was jailed for manslaughter by gross negligence after flipping his boat on the Thames and killing his date Charlotte Brown in 2015.
But it is claimed he is set to leave jail in the next 10 months - sooner than expected. Shepherd, originally from Exeter, Devon, is currently serving a six-year determinate sentence.
This refers to the maximum time he could serve in prison, but according to reports he will likely be freed in January, reports the Mail.
