Specialized has just released its latest drop of mountain bike clothing entitled SS24 MTN Apparel – which includes a lot of well-designed and highly functional new clothing, our tech editor Guy Kesteven has been doing some early testing already. But possibly in tribute to the fact that it's also London Fashion Week (Feb 16th to 20th), the collection contained these eye-catching new strides. Specialized is no stranger to clothing of an unusual hue though, with the likes of its butter-colored gravity wear launched in 2022.
Following on from Specialized's Trail Pants, the brand has now launched these Gravity Pants. The pants are reinforced with Cordura material to protect from abrasions and crashes, plus lots of lazer cut holes to keep things cool. Our resident fashion editor (also Guy) reports that the stretch panels near the ankles are bigger, so both the Trail and Gravity pants are easier to get on and off than the previous Trail version.
While Loic Bruni might be one of the few people who can pull off the new Gravity Pants in this colorway (Specialized are calling it 'Birch White/Multi-Spindrift') without getting roasted by everyone at the trailhead, happily for us mortal riders, the pants also come in plain black.
The Gravity Pants cost $160 / £140, and if you're feeling the urge to up the level of high couture at your local bike park, you buy them right now from Specialized.com.
