Several communities in northern Israel, specifically in the Upper Galilee region, are currently under special instructions to limit civilian movement. The regional council of Upper Galilee announced these measures on Monday, urging residents to adhere to the guidelines for their safety.
The council, responsible for governing communities in the northernmost Upper Galilee territory, has advised residents to avoid gatherings and stay close to protected areas. This directive is particularly crucial for the communities of Shenir, Dan, Dafna, HaGashrim, Ma’ayan Baruch, and Kfar Giladi.
In addition to these areas, residents in the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona have also been instructed to remain in protected areas until further notice. A spokesperson for the city emphasized the importance of following these guidelines to ensure the well-being of all residents.
These new measures come amidst ongoing efforts to prioritize public safety and mitigate potential risks in the region. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as needed to the affected communities.
