After taking a group of celebrities out to the desert for incredibly difficult military training, the FOX show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test will return for its second season next month.
Last season saw athletes like soccer star Carli Lloyd, NBA veteran Dwight Howard, MLB veteran Mike Piazza, Olympics stars Nastia Liukin and Gus Kenworthy and NFL veteran Danny Amendola team up with media personalities like Bachelorette star Hannah Brown and Spice Girls singer Mel B.
This season, the network describes that the new cast of 14 celebrities will travel to New Zealand to take on the elements in a more frigid terrain.
This time around, the recruits will be faced with the harsh reality of winter warfare training on the mountains of New Zealand where the terrain and freezing temperatures are brutal and the tasks will feel like torture. They will face the ice breaker drill where they will be submerged in a frozen lake to find their body temperature plummeting to near hypothermic levels. They will attempt a treacherous ravine crossing atop a 4700 ft snowcapped mountain peak as well as an emergency escape out of a helicopter submerged deep in icy waters.
You can check out a sneak peak of this season below, which premieres on Sept. 25.
