The National Lottery have announced that a special series of EuroMillions draws will ensure that 120 Irish players win €50,000 over the next six weeks.
The '12 Draws of Christmas' draws will mean that ten players will win the magic €50k in every single EuroMillions draw between November 15 and December 23.
The first draw to feature the added prize takes place on Friday.
Commenting on this exciting Christmas ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ a spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “ We’re certainly in the Christmas spirit as we announce this latest event, which will see more than €5 Million worth of prize money guaranteed to be won over the next six weeks!
"Usually, every EuroMillions draw in Ireland produces ten winners of the €5,000 raffle prize but over the next twelve draws we have created something extra special in the run up to Christmas. These players will have an additional €45,000 added to their prize!
“Not only will the special promotion see 120 players in Ireland win €50,000 over the six weeks, but all EuroMillions players in Ireland will also be in with a chance of becoming Ireland’s second EuroMillions jackpot winner of 2022. ”, the spokesperson continued.
Every player in Ireland who buys a ticket for any EuroMillions draw between the 15th of November and 23rd of December will be automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ for that corresponding draw.
A unique code on each ticket will be the player’s raffle number. 120 players over the six weeks will scoop €50,000
As with every EuroMillions draw the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ sees 10 raffle codes generated with each winning €5,000. However, in this special promotion, raffle players will win €50,000 instead of €5,000 over the next 12 draws.
