Speaker of Saudi Arabia’s Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara on Sunday at the invitation of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Sentop, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Upon his arrival at Ankara International Airport, he was received by a number of senior officials of the Grand National Assembly.
In a press statement, the Saudi Speaker praised the historic ties of friendship that bind the Kingdom and Türkiye.
He stressed the significance of holding regular meetings and maintaining open lines of communication between the two councils in order to advance bilateral cooperation and strengthen parliamentary relations and coordination over issues of shared interest.
