Michigan State got some bad news on the recruiting trail on Saturday night, and it appears there could be more coming their way on Sunday too.
Four-star offensive tackle Payton Kirkland chose Texas over Michigan State on Saturday night, and now another major offensive tackle prospect in the 2023 class is expected to head to the Lone Star State instead of East Lansing, Mich. Four-star offensive tackle Chase Bisontis picked up numerous crystal ball predictions for Texas A&M on Saturday — one day before he will announce his commitment.
247Sports recruiting guru and national insider Steve Wiltfong is one of four to project Bisontis to commit to the Aggies on Sunday.

Michigan State, Texas A&M, LSU and Rutgers are the known finalists for the massive tackle prospect. He ranks as the No. 9 offensive tackle and No. 62 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2023 class. He’s also the top player from New Jersey.
This would be yet another big blow to the Spartans as they appeared to be in a great spot to win this commitment. We won’t know the official decision from Bisontis until tomorrow at 5 p.m. EST — but it doesn’t look good for the Spartans here.
