Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to a big-time wide receiver prospect in the 2025 class.
Four-star wide receiver De’zie Jones of Wayne, N.J. announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He plays for DePaul Catholic and is considered a top 200 prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2025 class.
Jones ranks as the No. 16 wide receiver in the 2025 class, according to 247Sports. He also is listed as the No. 168 overall prospect and No. 4 player from New Jersey.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to extend him an offer, according to 247Sports. Other schools to offer Jones includes Duke, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Texas and Rutgers.
