Michigan State football is still alive in the recruitment of a big-time running back from Oklahoma.
Four-star running back Kaydin Jones of Jenks, Okla. cut the list of schools he’s considering to 11 on Monday, which included the Spartans. Michigan State was joined by Alabama, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Louisville, Oregon, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Miami (FL), Missouri and Vanderbilt.
Jones ranks as the No. 17 running back and No. 213 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 4 player from Oklahoma in the class.
Jones holds offers from more than 20 schools, according to 247Sports. Michigan State extended him an offer in March.
