Indian snacks sold by stores such as Costcutter, Spar, Simply Fresh and Nisa are being recalled over allergy concerns.
These foods, made by Birmingham-based Classic Cuisine, contain mustard and celery not mentioned on their labels.
Many people are allergic to these foods, which can trigger life-threatening anaphylactic shocks.
Classic Cuisine make foods to sell in convenience stores, which include Select & Save and Best One as well as independent shops.
The recalled foods include shish, shami and chicken kebabs and vegetable, lamb and chicken samosas.
The firm is also recalling its chicken and tandoori pakoras and lamb khatlama.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: "Classic Cuisine is recalling nine of their products because they contain mustard and celery which are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to celery and/or mustard."

A statement from Classic Cuisine said: "If you have bought any items as detailed above, and you have coeliac disease or an allergy, intolerance or sensitivity to mustard or celery do not eat them.
"Return the product(s) to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt."
Affected stores selling the products will put up warnings so that customers know about the recalls.
The FSA said: "If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to celery and/or mustard do not eat them. Instead return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund.
"For more information contact 0121 7534487 or info@classic-cuisine.co.uk."
It has hard to say exactly which stores are affected because not all branches stock all Classic Cuisine products.
A Classic Cuisine spokesperson said: "All the stores we deliver to don't take the whole range."
Classic Cuisine has been supplying its food to convenience stores since the early 1990s.
The firm's website says its premises were "designed by us in association with our Environmental Health Officers so as to maximise production and food safety".
All the listed convenience stores have been approached for comment.
Last week The Mirror reported that four major stores have warned parents not to use a popular children's cup after it was discovered to pose a choking hazard.
Asda, Boots, Morrisons and Tesco are recalling Nuby Incredible Gulp and Super Quench cups due to the issue.
Cups bought between November 1, 2021 and January 14, 2022 with batch codes WF10V and WG08V are being recalled by Nuby.
The same problem affects cups bought direct from the Nuby UK website.
Nuby said the mouth section of the cups' spout could come off if the straw or spout became damaged.
The company is giving all affected customers a full refund.
Anyone who bought one of the cups is being urged not to use it, and to instead visit the Nuby UK website and fill in a product recall form to arrange for a return and refund.
Alternatively, shoppers can return it to a supermarket where a full refund will be given, and a receipt is not required.
