Spain vs Portugal: Nations League prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news and h2h results today

Spain and Portugal meet tonight in a huge Nations League clash in Seville.

They are two sides who know this competition well - Portugal won the inaugural Nations League in 2019 ,while local rivals Spain finished as runners-up in the second edition two years later.

This time they’re both in Group A2 along with Switzerland and the Czech Republic as the teams face a hectic period of four games in a 10-day spell.

However, with a World Cup to come at the end of the year, every match is crucial as teams look to ensure they finalise their preparations ahead of the trip to Qatar.

Spain vs Portugal prediction

For two sides with so much attacking talent, the most recent meetings have not been particularly entertaining.

It’s finished goalless the last two times the teams have played each other, thought there was that classic 3-3 draw at the 2018 World Cup.

With plenty of tired legs at the end of a long club season, and the Nations League not a massive priority at this stage, it’s probably reasonable to expect a more low-key affair this time.

Draw, 1-1.

Head to head (h2) history and results
