One of the favourites for the Women’s Euros crown, Spain, get their group stage underway tonight with a clash against Finland.
Spain have high hopes for a first-ever trophy in the competition yet injuries to leading ladies Jennifer Hermoso and Alexia Putellas have stunted their ambitions in the build-up.
Finland may be ranked second-lowest in the tournament however there is plenty of experience in Anna Signeul’s squad.
In the other Group B game on Friday night, Germany face Denmark in Brentford with the eight-time champions and Spain the favourites to qualify for the latter stages.
