This summer will see many Irish people jet off for their first holiday abroad in over two years.
Spain, Greece and Turkey are among the most popular destinations, with each having its own set of rules and regulations that differ from Ireland.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has been issuing travel advice ahead of the busy summer holiday season.

Anyone heading to Spain is being reminded that one activity in particular is “forbidden” in certain locations.
According to the DFA: “Consumption of alcohol in public places, except licensed bars and restaurants, is forbidden in Madrid, the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands.
“Failure to respect these laws may result in a fine.”
Fines of up to €3,000 can be issued for the offence by Spanish authorities.
The DFA has also issued a separate alcohol alert, reminding Irish citizens about the difference in spirit measures.
It said: “Alcoholic spirits are usually sold in significantly larger measures in bars and restaurants in Spain than in Ireland.”
Meanwhile, Spanish alcohol rules have been hitting headlines in recent days due to a recent drinking law affecting all-inclusive holidays.
Spanish officials have sparked outrage by enforcing a 'six drinks per day' rule for all-inclusive holidays and in resorts on islands including Ibiza and Majorca.
The new law, which affects some hotels in the Balearic Islands, means that holidaymakers are forced to pay extra if they want more than three free alcoholic drinks per meal.
Local authorities in Spain introduced the booze ban in January this year, which affects certain resort areas of the Balearic Islands, including Palma, Ibiza and Magaluf. The new law - which states “alcoholic drinks will be limited to six per day” - is part of a package of measures designed to crack down on anti-social behaviour.
These are also believed to include bans on pub crawls, happy hours and two-for-one drinks offers, which are all being enforced by hefty fines.
