A mum has issued a warning to others after being left with painful bites that the thinks came from flies brought home in her suitcase.

Denise Kelly suspects the insects came back in her luggage after a six-day holiday in Benidorm to celebrate a friend's hen party last week.

The blood-sucking Spanish black flies can leave painful bites from gnawing on skin that can blister and last up to a month.
