UK holidaymakers jetting off to Spain have been warned the country has extended its Covid rules of entry ahead of the Easter getaway. It means that only people who are fully vaccinated, or have a valid recovery certificate, can enter the European country until April 30.
It had been expected that the popular holiday destination would lift its entry requirements at the end of March. Unvaccinated visitors will now only be able to enter Spain if they can prove they had Covid in the past six months, The Sun reports.
The Majorca Daily Bulletin says people over 18 must be fully vaccinated and can only enter within 270 days of their second jab, or if they have had a booster, or with a valid recovery certificate from overcoming the virus within the last 180 days.
