SpaceX will build a $100 billion ‘Starbase’ to launch its Mars-bound Starship spacecraft

SpaceX wants to build its largest rocket launch complex yet, spending $100 billion to make a spaceport for its plans to explore the Moon and Mars.

The company hopes to turn coastal wetlands in southern Louisiana into a “self-sustaining” spaceport that will allow it to build and launch Starship and AI satellites.
