Space junk to crash into Moon at 5,800mph tomorrow

Experts have claimed the moon will be struck by three tons of space junk, which will imprint a crater that could accommodate several trucks.

Debris from a rocket is due to smash into the far side of the moon, hidden from telescope view, on Friday at a whopping 5,800mph.

Scientists say it could take weeks, maybe months for them to confirm the impact of the smash through satellite images.
