Reacting on the Supreme Court's historic judgement on the buldozers action in Maharajganj in 2019, he said it is 'very embarassing' for the UP goverenment that the Supreme Court has imposeed a very hefty fine on it for the bulldozer action.
Supreme Court said: "This government is very arrogant. It seems the rule of law has ended in UP. Power and authority are being misused in Uttar Pradesh."
The apex court added: This is so arbitrary. You cannot bring a bulldozer and demolish a house overnight. You don't give the family time to vacate the house. What about the household goods? Due process should have been followed.
